Ying Xu Named Editor in Chief of the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
Ying Xu of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Institute of Bioinformatic at the University of Georgia, has been named editor in chief of the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, a bimonthly journal that publishes archival research results related to the algorithmic, mathematical, statistical, and computational methods that are central in bioinformatics and computational biology. The quarterly IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies will be led by Peter Brusilovsky from the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Information Science and Telecommunications, School of Information Sciences.
