C. bescii --- now a part of the scientific lexicon

U.S. Department of Energy, Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz presented the afternoon keynote presentation at the BIOMASS 2013 conference on August 1st in Washington D.C. During this presentation the Energy Secretary called out BESC for a breakthrough in identifying a bacteria that makes soluble biomass without pretreatment.  He noted that this bacteria, C.bescii, is now part of the scientific lexicon.
